Fall Colors.

We are showing off our newest colors. Last year, DWR launched the Eames Soft Pad Management Chair in Spinneybeck powder blue and chocolate. This fall we are launching a new Spinneybeck color palette, exclusive to DWR. The palette, developed with Laura Guido-Clark includes warm tones of fern and persimmon, to name a few. Color swatches will be available by early September. Oh, and the powder blue and chocolate Eames Soft Pad Management Chair are on sale for a limited time.

Just because I'm curious, how many of the readers of this blog have ever spent $2,900+ on a single chair? Are we out of our materialistic minds? I'm a proponent of well designed anything, especially Herman Miller products, but who is buying this stuff? As an example, to fill a modest 6 people conference room would set you back almost 18 thousand dollars. Am I the only one who feels this way? Last week I negotiated with a client for an additional $450 to use a varnish on a print run. Sheesh.
